A camisole or cami is a loose-fitting, sleeveless undergarment for women which normally covers the top torso of the body extending to the waist. A camisole is usually shorter than a chemise made of cotton, nylon, satin, mix fabric. Some modern camisoles are cropped or extended depending upon weather you want to show midriff or cover the butt. Similar to a tank top, camisoles are available with adjustable straps or slim spaghetti straps. Based on the style sometimes camisoles can be worn as regular clothing but most often they are tight-fitting so used as undergarment to be worn as layer underneath shirts, jackets, sweaters, kurti, brassiere, tunic, button-ups, and many other types of tops. Latest style camisoles includes the ones which have a built-in underwire bra or other support fabric making it possible unnecessary to wear a bra. Some women also prefer to wear it as sleepwear instead of pajamas especially in warm weather.
